Ray has worked in communications, information technology and security for more than 30 years. He was Interim Group CISO at National Grid. Ray has also held roles at Redwood Technologies Group, was Executive Vice President of BT Advise – BTs Systems Integration and Professional Services Unit. Ray remained a security & risk advisor to the board during this role. Prior to that, Ray was Executive Global Head of BT’s Business Continuity, Security and Governance Capability Unit (BCS&G).
An experienced and recognised practitioner, particularly in the use and implementation of standards such as ISO27001 and incident management procedures; Ray remains a security and business advisor to a number of different organisations.
Charles is currently the Group Head of Operational Risk at Allied Irish Banks. Previously, Charles was with UBS and held a number of roles including Head of Shared Services Operational Risk for the global Investment Bank and UBS UK, Group Head of Third Party Risk and COO for Group Data and the Client Data Confidentiality programme. Before joining UBS, he was with Ernst & Young in the Risk & Regulatory Advisory practice. He has previously held roles managing risk, operations and technology for Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Barclays Capital. Charles began his career at the United Nations managing technology and operations to support military peace-keeping operations and humanitarian programmes.

In his role, Desai is responsible for driving the development and delivery OneTrust’s third party risk management product as well as driving the refinement of the toolset and offerings. He works with clients to centralize their vendor information across business units, assess risks based on use cases and relevant standards like CSA, CAIQ, SIG, GDPR and CCPA while also monitoring threats to seamlessly mitigate vendor risks throughout the engagement lifecycle. Desai takes a customer-based approach to product development and derives the majority of his backlog from customer feedback and direction.
A well known International thought leader on Information Security issues, including Risk Management and Information Security Awareness strategies. Previously helped develop one of the earliest globally successful CBT programs for Security Awareness “For Your Eyes Only”. Has held positions on various security influencing bodies including APACS, LINK and Common Criteria.
